Listen dudes, Palermo and the South of Italy all can’t be anything but proud to be home of a band like VALUES INTACT. Yeah! …another amazing act that’s busting its ass off to get their music and message out to those kids and people smart enough to get and be a part of it. And I really hope they’ll be growing in number every day thanks to this new compelling outing.

This five-some, formed in 2003 shortly after No Way Out disbanded, has already released two full-lengths ( ‘Hope for freedom’ via Die hard collective and ‘Dear hometown’ via Goodwill records ), taken part in loads of compilations ( just too many to mention ) and are finally back with ‘HERE HEARTS’. The 7’’ ep is released by Italian Indelirium Records and features 5 tracks of scorching in your face HC that pick up at full-hands from such HC flag-bearers as Carry On, Verse succeeding in keeping it true and fresh thanks to a first class songwriting and a tight performance that proves these dudes have all the numbers to make a name for themselves in the today scene. The recording sounds really good too.

The entire work is wrapped in more heart and honesty than a lot of bands in the scene these days, who seem to just ‘do it by the numbers’. Great release from Indelirium Records that comes with a really cool artwork. HERE HEARTS makes the HC a genre worthy of the name. Let’s hope isn’t gonna pass much before another one comes out… By now, pick this up and make sure to catch’em live with Alone on their upcoming ‘There’s a light that never goes out’ German tour.
